In this 1.5 hour deep dive we will look at the technique and pathways for the different dynamic saltos (stag, sweetie, sexy, sassy and friends) that can be performed from S wrap on rope and sling. These sneaky saltos can be used to spice and season your choreography and are typically accessed from a front-back beat.

π§Workshop content
In this 1.5 hour Zoom masterclass we will:
π§ look in detail at the different S wrap saltos (sexy vs. sassy vs. variations
π§ compare and contrast across sling and rope/silks
π§ examine the underlying technique, pathways + engagements
π§ go through drills + progressions
π§ cover entries + exits for sling and rope including potential for sequencing
π§ troubleshoot common problems (bring along your or your studentsβ struggles to Q+A!)
π€ This is a theory workshop and we wonβt be on-apparatus. BUT we will go through some ground-based drills before getting into videos of the skills/entries/exits for you to try in your own practice.

Who itβs for
This masterclass is suitable for:
πββοΈ Rope OR sling artists with some dynamic experience (strong front-back beats are helpful, Amazon beats helpful but not essential) and confident with S wrap entries/exits and basic windmill/wheeldown technique.
πββοΈ Coaches who are looking for some inspiration, including sling coaches who want to incorporate some rope-influenced vocab to their sling practice/teaching
πββοΈ Aerial nerds who love digging into technique, cross-apparatus explorations and adaptations!
