  • Indoors all year or outdoors on my freestanding aerial rig in summer.

  • Up to 3 people for an aerial circus class, one person only for aerial yoga.

  • 1 or 2 hour sessions.

  • Aerial circus (rope or sling) or aerial yoga (more on the difference here!).

  • Age 10+ with no upper limit (young people under 18 should be accompanied by an adult).

  • All experience levels are welcome. I teach rope and sling/hammock from beginner to advanced level, silks from beginner to intermediate level.

FAQ.

  • 1:1 = ÂŁ66 per hour
    1:2 = ÂŁ44 per person per hour
    1:3 = ÂŁ33 per person per hour

Discounts available for West Wales residents, for Syrcas Byd Bach students and alumni, and for block booking (4+ sessions).

  • For most aerial circus clients, I’ll start our session by guiding you through a 10 minute ground-based warm up before we do some more warming up and conditioning on the apparatus. We then come on to look at learning or review aerial skills. If you’re a complete beginner/doing a taster session you will learn how to move on and explore different pieces of aerial apparatus which might include getting upside down, climbing, spinning or sequencing shapes in the air. We always close with a brief cool down.

NB If you’re an experienced or professional aerialist, please feel free to arrive 15 minutes before our allotted lesson time to warm yourself up so you can make the most of your air time.

For an aerial yoga private session (1:1), I’ll guide you through a full one hour class, which flows from a warm up (using the hammock) through more vigorous poses, winding down to savasana (prone relaxation in the hammock) to finish.

  • Please wear clothing that covers the waist, armpits and backs of the knees and not so loose that it will flop over your face when upside down. A form fitting top tucked into leggings or joggers works well.

  • Good question! I have a whole page here about this.

Aerial doesn’t have to be all about spectacle or strength - aerial apparatus can also be used in ways that are restorative or sensory. If you want to be guided through a restorative, mindful practice that is focused on you and your needs, aerial yoga sessions that are about nurturing your own wellbeing or curiosity.
