I’m Jess Allen: an aerial coach who supports rope and sling artists to grow a training practice they love, and an aerial artist who creates performance and film using aerial apparatus in curious juxtaposition to sites, spaces, objects and bodies.
I moved into aerial circus after a decade working as an aerial dance performer (bungee / counterweight) & a PhD in performance art.
I teach online and in person from home, a converted church near Llangrannog in Ceredigion. I’m also part of the team at Syrcas Byd Bach the circus school at Small World Theatre in Cardigan, and Circus Mobility Parish online membership.
