I’m Jess Allen, an aerial coach, artist & performer.
I nurture aerialists to refine technique, expand vocab & develop a sustainable, self-kind practice. I use aerial apparatus (rope, sling, harness) to create performance or film that is intimate, playful, curious.
I moved into aerial circus after a decade working as an aerial dance performer (bungee / counterweight) & a PhD in performance art.
I teach online and in person from home, a converted church near Llangrannog in Ceredigion. I’m also part of the team at Syrcas Byd Bach the circus school at Small World Theatre in Cardigan.
